Job summary

Soho House & Co. is hiring a Runner to help prepare tables, serve orders, explain meals, and bridge kitchen and servers. You will help provide hand plated service to members and guests, aiming to elevate the dining experience in a fast-paced club environment.

Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, stay calm, are friendly, and can adapt to flexible shifts, including weekends. OLCC certification and POS knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and remains calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Demonstrates competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Takes direction, works well in a team and can work autonomously.
• OLCC-certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Follow Steps of Service (refill water/coffee, clear dishes, crumb table, replenish supplies, expedite orders).
• Accommodate guest requests or advise on options to better fit business needs.
• Thrive in high-volume service, support servers, Executive Chef and General Manager.
• Ensure food orders are plated and coursed before serving to members/guests.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and local laws.
• Work as one team, serve food/drink promptly, run items from expo/service bar when needed.
• Clean and stock the server alley and expo area.
• Know the menu well and suggest items to members/guests.
