Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Food Runner to support a dynamic dining team at our Portland location. You will prepare tables, explain menus, and serve orders while facilitating collaboration between kitchen and servers to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will thrive in a fast-paced setting, remaining calm under pressure, problem-solving on the fly, and upholding high hospitality standards. This role requires teamwork and flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in similar role.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• OLCC-certified and POS knowledge.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Hospitable and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Follow Steps of Service to refill water, clear dishes, crumb tables, replenish supplies, and expedite orders.
• Accommodate guest requests and provide alternatives as needed, and advise management.
• Thrives in high-volume settings and supports servers, chefs, and management.
• Ensure meals are plated and served correctly; assist with expediting items.
