Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a customer-focused team member for food and beverage service. You will greet guests, take orders, and process payments using the POS system, while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preparing orders, balancing cash at shift end, and maintaining clean, sanitary workstations consistent with ServSafe guidelines. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashiering or food handling preferred.
• Basic math and literacy required.
• Must obtain Alcohol Awareness Card.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide responsive, professional service.
• Process payments by cash, card, room charges or billing; input orders into POS.
• Record financial data and manage issue/return of guest checks; balance cash at shift end.
• Prepare and portion food/beverage orders; ensure timely service.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain sanitary conditions.
