Job summary

City of Grapevine seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations and guest experiences. This role includes staff development, event support, and ensuring food quality in a clean, safe environment.

You will manage front- and back-of-house tasks, coordinate schedules, monitor sanitation, and handle POS operations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced city venue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of restaurant supervisor or food and beverage industry experience.
• Must obtain food handler’s certificate within 10 days of hire.
• May obtain Serv-Safe Certification within 15 days of hire.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and have a valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to ensure exceptional dining experiences for all customers.
• Assists in planning, coordination, setup, execution, and breakdown of golf tournaments, private dining functions, and special events.
• Monitors performance of assigned staff.
• Maintains sanitation standards per federal and local health and safety codes; conducts daily inspections.
• Handles POS operations, cash handling, and P&L authority.
• Promotes excellent guest service and resolves guest concerns promptly.
• Performs duties of other restaurant positions when needed and collaborates with Kitchen staff.
• Assists with marketing and promotional programs to grow restaurant sales.
• Creates staff schedules and manages conflicts; communicates effectively with customers and staff.
