Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rochester, MN is seeking a Body Shop Estimator to translate vehicle damage into accurate repair plans and estimates, coordinating with customers and insurance partners throughout the repair process.

You will prepare estimates per partner and company guidelines, manage schedules, communicate supplements the same business day, and collaborate with management on new procedures and equipment in the industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• I-CAR Certification preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop a proper repair plan for each vehicle.
• Prepare estimates in line with Insurance partner and company guidelines.
• Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after repairs.
• Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies the same business day.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and tidy to improve customer happiness.
• Consult with management regarding new procedures and equipment in the industry.
