Job summary

LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Napa is seeking a full-time Guest Experience Associate & Content Creator to warmly welcome visitors and support event logistics and marketing efforts.

You will handle reservations, coordinate with vendors, manage calendars, and create content for social channels, while delivering exceptional guest service. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year guest-facing experience in hospitality, winery or retail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in customer service in hotel or retreat environments is a plus.
• Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks with follow-up.
• Willingness to work with changing priorities and weekends.
• Calendar management and setting up in-person and virtual meetings (Zoom).
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams; learn new tech quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to anticipate diverse visitors' needs.
• Event planning experience is beneficial; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to obtain ServSafe and RB training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Handle phone calls professionally, providing accurate information.
• Support event execution, including room reservations, setups, and logistics.
• Coordinate with vendors and staff for smooth operations.
• Oversee guest check-in/check-out and room inspections.
• Maintain an updated booking calendar and prevent conflicts.
• Provide guests with local recommendations and information.
• Assist with marketing content and distribution for social channels.
