Job summary

LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired seeks an On-Call Guest and Events Services Associate to support Enchanted Hills Napa property. You will greet visitors, assist with event logistics, and provide safe on-site transportation.

This on-call, 100% onsite position requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to drive a variety of vehicles. Prior guest-facing experience and nonprofit interest are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a guest-facing role in hospitality, banquets or events.
• Valid driver's license; class B is a plus.
• Ability to drive multiple vehicle types (golf carts, vans, trams, ATVs, SUVs).
• Serve Safe food handler and responsible beverage service training preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work weekends and overnight as needed.
• Interest in working for a nonprofit mission.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, checking in and assisting visitors; maintain welcome environment.
• Support event execution, including room setups and logistics.
• Provide on-site transportation for guests and equipment.
• Manage event-related items (food, rentals, room setups).
• Coordinate with vendors and staff for smooth operations.
• Oversee guest check-in/out and room inspections.
• Keep welcome area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Build positive relationships with guests and staff; collect feedback.
• Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures; respond to incidents.
• Respond quickly to medical, security, or disaster situations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
