Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Hospitality Specialist to provide a warm, welcoming guest experience and oversee front desk operations at our Daytona Beach properties.

You will handle check-ins/outs, inquiries, and reservations, while coordinating with departments to ensure guest satisfaction and timely handling of issues. Strong hospitality skills and a focus on guest comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service.
• Computer skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple guest requests.
• Excellent frontline communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Efficient and courteous operations of the front desk.
• Check-in/check-out, balance collection, posting room charges, reservations, room moves, and stay-overs.
• Answer guest questions about local restaurants and attractions.
• Make courtesy calls and follow-up on guest issues; send confirmations to owners/guests.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest responses.
• Process all revenue daily; balance cash drawer and post transactions.
• Enter maintenance/ service requests in system and manage guest communications.
• All other duties as assigned.
