Job summary

JLL in Durham, NC is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors, delivering warm, professional hospitality and memorable brand experiences from the moment guests arrive.

You will serve as the central information hub, manage registrations and badges, assist with onsite events, and support security and facilities operations in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or corporate settings.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and ability to adapt to new processes and systems.
• Excellent organization and written/oral communication skills; English proficiency required.
• Ability to perform light physical activity such as walking and carrying small packages.
• Confidence to enforce security policies while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
• Self-accountability for hospitality and experience standards.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with warm, sincere welcomes and deliver high-quality, anticipatory service.
• Serve as the central information hub, connecting staff, visitors, and vendors to the right resources.
• Handle guest concerns in person, over the phone, or via email with prompt, gracious resolution.
• Manage visitor registrations and badge tracking to support security and data insights.
• Issue and track employee badges following security procedures, supporting badge inventory and returns.
• Support onsite events through check-ins, badge issuance, and hospitality-focused guest experiences.
• Manage courier services, packages, and mail as required.
