Job summary

AHC Hospitality's Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids seeks a Front Desk Associate to be the first contact for guests, delivering exceptional service during check-in and check-out, answering phones, and providing concierge assistance.

This full-time role includes weekend availability and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to grow within a leading hospitality team across Amway Grand Plaza properties.

Qualifications

• Answering guest calls and assisting with requests in a professional manner.
• Efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining service quality.
• Proficient in managing daily check-ins and check-outs.
• Follow hotel procedures and protect guest information.

Responsibilities

• Operate the OnQ lodging system to manage guest information and transactions.
• Operate Front Office systems including Kipsu, Nor1 eStandby, Volante, Outlook, and HotSOS.
• Handle high volumes of guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Manage all incoming phone calls (guestroom, external, internal).
• Maintain knowledge of Grand Rapids area to assist guests.
• Build strong relationships with guests for a personalized experience.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly at first contact.
