Job summary

The Willard InterContinental Washington, DC, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Guest Relations Agent to greet guests, handle check-ins and payments, and provide local insights to ensure memorable stays.

Ideal candidates have a Hotel Management/Business Administration background, 3 years front desk/guest service experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and fluency in the local language. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/ Business Administration.
• 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience.
• Fluency in the local language; extra languages helpful but not essential.
• Excellent communication and guest handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes.
• Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone.
• Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings.
• Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless.
• Staying a step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations.
• Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations.
