Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, process check-ins/outs, handle payments, and maintain front desk operations in line with company standards.

You will answer phones, assist with reservations, ensure safety and security procedures are followed, and contribute to a friendly, efficient hotel experience for every guest. The role includes breakfast setup, daily paperwork, and ongoing property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology.
• Understand and comply with safety rules and operating instructions.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic for transactions and balancing.
• Apply sound judgment in guest-related situations.
• Manage problems and resolve guest issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and respond to requests with follow-through.
• Answer phones and handle inquiries professionally.
• Check guests in and out and process payments per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk areas and daily paperwork.
• Balance cash, credit card, and city ledger accounts.
• Set up and break down breakfast displays in a timely manner.
• Ensure property is clean and organized per standards.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Identify potential sales leads and gather guest information.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed and reported.
