Job summary

The Graduate Providence, part of Highgate Hotels, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive and courteous service from check-in through checkout. You will help maximize occupancy and revenue while guiding guests on local amenities and hotel services.

Ideal candidates bring experience in guest services, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role offers benefits and requires flexible hours to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work – exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally; stand during shift.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Must multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Operate PBX and Front Desk software; ensure hotel standards.
• Answer inquiries about services, facilities, and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail, and messages to guests/meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare shift paperwork; review logs and reports.
• Assist guests with reservations, rates, and promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow safety procedures.
