Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent for the Courtyard New York Manhattan Midtown East. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and checkouts, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.

The role requires excellent communication and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and professional presentation. A flexible schedule and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college coursework helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to stand during shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at Front Desk according to Highgate standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and hours of operation.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and close shift paperwork and run nightly reports.
