Job summary

Michaels in Redwood City is hiring a Store Team Member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store merchandising.

The role supports omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participates in planograms, and upholds safety and SOPs while delivering the Michaels Brand Promise. The position offers benefits and eligibility for company programs; must be 16+ and able to work nights, weekends

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and stock; handle returns/go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact positively and be a role model; cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
