Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate in Tulsa, OK. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, and resolve issues to ensure a quick, friendly shopping experience.

You will also process transactions, explain loyalty benefits, and promote store services with a service-first mindset. Candidates should enjoy helping others in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with hours, and use scanners and devices to assist guests.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively with guests using positive language and attentive to guests needs.

• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.

• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote and explain current promos, store activities and Target App features.
• Know and speak to benefits of Target Loyalty program and assist with signup/sign-in as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and safely.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering and how to enroll these features.
• Assist with returns and follow store procedures; escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during open hours.
• Demonstrate a safety-first culture and comply with policies.
• Handle checkout operations and advise on safety and compliance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
