Responsibilities

• Cashier/Checker greets, engages and assists customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Maintain safe, clean store environment and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Respond to customer questions about products and store services.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
