Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a visible, engaging manner.
• Process customer transactions at the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the POS system; handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and other tender types per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits, loss prevention, and restricted item guidelines (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons; stay current with ads.
