Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, cards, and other tender types.
• Follow cash-handling policies and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Adhere to restrictions on sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow pricing policies.
• Stay current with ads, promotions and seasonal changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and follow safety procedures.
• Assist customers with product questions and locate items across departments.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
