Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations.

You will greet guests, process transactions at the POS, stock shelves, and help with safety and housekeeping. Flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts is required; strong customer service and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outside, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas (selling floor, stock, register).
• Ability to count, read and write to complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to established safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the POS and maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
