Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Food and Beverage Ambassador responsible for guest seating, cash handling, and delivering exceptional service. You will greet Guests, manage reservations, answer questions, and coordinate with team members to maintain a clean and efficient dining area while upholding health standards and casino policies.

The role requires prior cash handling experience and a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Receive payment from Guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Adhere to established cash control policies and procedures of Grand Casino.
• Advise Guest of waiting time and areas of the Venue.
• Prepare orders in a timely manner with garnish and accompaniments.
• Answer Guest questions and direct concerns to appropriate management.
• Seat Guests according to established procedures.
• Deliver excellent Guest Service in an upbeat, friendly manner.
• Maintain a clean dining area in full accordance with state health regulations.
• Maintain stock of all necessary items.
• Initial cordial reception to Guests and escort to a dining table.
• Answer telephones and make reservations as required.
• Communicate with Guests including wait times and general information.
• Seat Guests according to rotation procedures and operate Host seating computer system.
• Address Guest complaints promptly and courteously per standards.
• Assist in health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Read floorplans and seat guests accordingly.
• Clean and sanitize tables and dining room after departure.
• Collaborate with Casino Hosts, Food Servers, Cooks, Supervisors, and others to ensure smooth operation.
