Job summary

InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta is seeking a courteous Bellperson to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and help guests navigate the hotel from arrival to departure. This full-time role emphasizes delivering personalized service and creating memorable experiences in a fast-paced luxury setting.

You will escort guests to rooms, provide local recommendations, coordinate transportation, and collaborate with Front Office and Concierge teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, concierge, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Knowledge of the Atlanta area is a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage, including loading, unloading, storing, and delivering items to guest rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities, amenities, and services.
• Provide recommendations and directions for local attractions, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Assist with transportation arrangements, including taxis and rideshare services.
• Deliver messages, packages, amenities, and other items to guest rooms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel entrance and bell service area.
• Safely operate luggage carts and handle guest belongings with care.
• Communicate effectively with Front Office, Concierge, Valet, and other hotel departments.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively create memorable experiences.
• Follow all hotel, safety, security, and brand standards.
