Job summary

21c Museum Hotel Durham seeks a Porter/Valet to support guest arrivals and departures, assist with luggage, and deliver guest requests promptly. You will interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and help maintain a clean, welcoming lobby experience.

You will report to the Front Office Manager/Rooms Manager and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide porter and valet services to guests and respond to requests promptly.
• Strong English communication and courteous demeanor.
• Must be able to lift luggage and assist guests with loading/unloading during arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist arriving guests; help unload luggage and transport to rooms using carts.
• Assist departing guests by transporting luggage to the lobby and assisting with vehicle departure.
• Deliver laundry, newspapers, iron and ironing board, and other guest requests promptly.
