Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle tenders (cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads.
• Comply with food safety and safety procedures; identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer questions about products storewide.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines; work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
