Job summary

Kroger is hiring friendly cashiers to create outstanding customer experiences at our Saint Francis, WI store. You will greet customers, process transactions quickly and accurately, and operate the POS system across cash, checks, card, and EBT tender types.

You will follow store policies, maintain a clean, safe environment, and assist customers with questions while supporting loss prevention and high service standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for everyday transactions and change calculations.
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage them in a friendly, helpful manner
• Process transactions quickly and accurately at the check lane
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, cards, and EBT
• Adhere to cash handling, loss prevention, and store policies
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming checkout areas
• Assist with questions about products and store promotions
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
