Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a cashier to provide outstanding customer service in a friendly, safe, and productive checkout environment. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and apply knowledge of store policies to assist shoppers quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, processing diverse payment types, and ensuring accurate pricing and promotions. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming store and comply with safety guidelines while supporting

Qualificações

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)

Responsabilidades

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Operate the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons)
• Follow company policy on cash handling and loss prevention
• Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs)
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
• Assist in maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment
• Provide help and information to customers, including minors and seniors
