Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting store operations and safety policies.

This role involves POS operation, stocking, vendor check-ins, and collaborating with management to meet guest needs; candidates should be flexible with hours and able to lift up to 25 lbs.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and consistent customer service to uphold our long-standing heritage.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required for daily operations.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (outdoors, coolers, etc.).
• Physical ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas and complete tasks promptly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
