Job summary

JARS Cannabis in Chesterfield, Michigan seeks a friendly, tech-savvy Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers and patients. You will check in new customers, manage profiles, assist with orders, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

Successful candidates will complete mandatory training through JARS University and support store operations, while complying with state and CRA requirements. This role offers full-time and part-time schedules with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail, sales and/or hospitality environment.
• 1 year of previous administrative and/or Front Desk Receptionist experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and follow-up skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must work cooperatively as a team member.
• Exceptional hospitality skills due to frequent patient/staff interaction.

Responsibilities

• Verify customers' legal age requirements and register new customers in the POS system.
• Check customer purchasing allotments during check-in.
• Promote the JARS brand and welcome guests with a positive demeanor.
• Answer calls with professional phone etiquette and provide product information.
• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing tasks and maintain reception area.
• Support store management in administrative duties as needed.
• Ensure Michigan CRA compliance in customer interactions and transactions.
• Maintain current online and in-store menus with daily offerings.
