Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Prairie du Chien, WI is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome every guest and deliver an over the top customer service experience. You will assist with merchandise handling, provide information and direct customers to departments, and promote store programs.

You will maintain a clean, safe entry and assist with check-in of returns and vendor visits. This part-time role requires a high school diploma and strong communication, organization, and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Present a professional image by following dress code and keeping a neat appearance.
• Check in returned merchandise and vendor representatives with proper logs and badges.
• Inform customers of events, sales, or promotions and provide promotional materials.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe entryway and work area.
• Assist with guest check-in for firearms/weapons per SOP; greeters must not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
