Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO is seeking a friendly, outgoing Greeter to welcome customers and guide them to products and services. This part-time role emphasizes outstanding customer service, promoting store programs, and maintaining a safe, organized front-end area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with events and promotions, logging visitors, and coordinating with Outfitters for firearm check-in when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Self-motivation and initiative, even when unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Models Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s brand image with professional dress and welcoming body language.
• Checks in customer merchandise and vendor representatives; logs visitor information and badges.
• Notifies trained Outfitters for firearm/weapon check-in as needed, without handling firearms.
• Supports events and promotions with promotional materials; keeps entryways and work areas clean and safe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
