Job summary

Michaels in Youngstown-Niles, OH is looking for a store team member to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will handle merchandise, stock, and store recovery to keep shelves in good order and support brand standards.

This role participates in Omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS), truck unloading, planograms, and shop-wide safety programs while upholding SOPs and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and card enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise returns/go back process
• Perform in-stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally and model positive behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
