Job summary

Michaels Stores in Strongsville, OH, is seeking a Store Associate to assist customers, stock shelves, and operate the checkout. You’ll help shoppers find products, participate in Omni channel tasks like BOPIS/SFS, and support daily store maintenance.

Excellent customer service and basic cash handling are essential. Day-to-day duties include truck unloads, stocking, and ensuring merchandise availability while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise in-stock condition
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance
• Interact with others positively; model company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
