Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Kansas City, KS, is seeking a Customer Relations Associate (part-time) to greet customers, answer questions, process returns and exchanges, and help shoppers find the right gear.

You will secure firearms, check vendor visitors, promote CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up, and contribute to a friendly, world-class shopping experience while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Handles merchandise returns; complete refund / exchange paperwork.
• Sorts returns by category and return to proper area.
• Sells appropriate Hunting and Fishing Licenses.
• Handles and administers all incentive and reward programs.
• Remains product knowledgeable.
• Remains aware of advertised sales.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Provides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
