Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Willington, CT to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience while ensuring store-level tasks are completed. You will operate the point of sale, maintain cash and inventory, perform housekeeping, replenish products, and support management with vendor communications.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours (days, nights, weekends, holidays) required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Work in varying temperatures (outdoor, cooler).
• Climb ladders and stairs; lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock, and register.
• Accurate reading and writing to complete paperwork.
• Assist onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies, ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
