Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations at our Norwich, CT location. You will greet guests, handle POS duties, maintain shop cleanliness, and assist with inventory and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs and navigate stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to store management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising tasks as assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
