Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to blend hospitality with safety leadership in a dispensary setting. You will greet guests, manage check-in, and uphold compliance while remaining mobile and alert across the floor.

This role emphasizes guest-first service, de-escalation, and collaboration with store teams to safeguard guests and staff while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest-first service.
• Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Must pass background checks including cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21+ and compliant with cannabis industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Be the first smiling face for guests, greeting with warmth and professionalism.
• Check-in guests, maintain compliance, and guide traffic with concierge-level support.
• Uphold safety, deter incidents, monitor entryways and perimeters.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.
• Escort guests and support store operations on safety and guest flow.
• Report safety, security, or compliance incidents promptly.
• Assist with emergency procedures and preparedness.
• Conduct visual inspections per SOPs to maintain a safe environment.
• Foster relationships with store teams and guests; share insights transparently.
• Support training of new APS team members to model compliant behavior.
