ASH Hotels in Venice Beach is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to manage check-ins/outs, reservations support, and guest inquiries with warmth and efficiency. You will be the first and last impression, guiding guests with local tips while handling payments and room assignments using a modern PMS.

The role requires excellent communication, multitasking under pressure, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in guest services or hospitality.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems (e.g., Mews) is preferred; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong verbal communication and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-volume periods.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable first impressions.
• Front desk role requiring frequent computer and phone use.
• Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Warmly welcome guests at check-in and check-out, setting a positive tone for their stay.
• Operate the PMS to process reservations, room assignments, and payments accurately.
• Handle cash, credit transactions and folio adjustments with precision.
• Answer phone and email inquiries with timely, accurate information.
• Offer personalized dining, activity, and Venice Beach recommendations.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to ensure rooms are ready.
• Maintain guest records, shift logs and reports accurately.
• Support group check-ins, events and VIP arrivals with attention to detail.
