Job summary

The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh invites applicants for a Part-Time Visitor Services Representative role at the Kamin Science Center. You will greet visitors at the Admissions Desk and Omnimax Concessions, process tickets, handle cash, and promote memberships and programs.

You will balance the cash drawer, answer questions, and maintain clean, well-stocked workstations while delivering friendly, helpful service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with cash handling required.
• One year related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service at admissions counter and Omnimax concessions.
• Balances cash drawer and handles cash accurately.
• Answers questions and cross-sells center programs and memberships.
• Enters ticket selections into the admissions system and processes transactions.
• Promotes memberships, explorer passes, and gift certificates.
• Keeps work areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
