Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time Museum Services Associate, Pit Crew to support the electric go-kart course, simulators, related exhibits, and ticketing while delivering exceptional guest service. The role involves a variety of responsibilities across track operations, ticketing, and guest assistance.

Candidates should have at least one year of customer service experience, prefer cash handling experience, and be able to work weekends, holidays and evening hours.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have at least one year of experience working in the customer service field.
• Prefer experience with cash handling.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily duties at briefing room and go-kart track with focus on safety and guest service.
• Oversee exhibits and simulators ensuring proper handling of equipment.
• Operate the Science Center ticket counter and POS system with accuracy and cash handling discipline.
• Provide timely guest feedback to Operations Management and respond to issues professionally.
• Greet guests, engage with them, and represent the museum positively.
