Job summary

Rapport, a division of FLIK Hospitality Group, seeks a Receptionist in New York to be the first impression for guests and visitors, operating the switchboard and serving as a welcoming, professional point of contact.

You will greet guests by name when possible, manage visitor credentials, answer phones, coordinate meeting room activities, and support building operations to maintain a warm, secure environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in a client service / reception position within a hospitality or corporate environment.
• Computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment

Responsibilities

• Greets and handles visitors with a smile and maintains eye contact.
• Answers telephones in a friendly, professional manner and takes messages.
• Manages on-floor conference room activities and reservations, notices start/end times and attendees, and coordinates with staff.
• Implements security policies for arriving and departing visitors.
• Acts as Hospitality Services resource for way-finding and building amenities.
• Handles car service requests for visitors and staff.
• Communicates requests to internal support departments (maintenance, IT, AV, mail).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
