Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to warmly welcome customers at the entrance and guide them as they shop. You will be the face of the store, promoting programs and assisting guests with basic information and directions.

In this role, you will maintain a neat appearance, support smooth front-end operations, and handle light duties such as returns check-ins and event promotions, all while delivering an exceptional first impression to every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership (US only), VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Model brand standards by maintaining professional dress and appearance per store guidelines.
• Check in customers' merchandise for returns and manage vendor visitor logs.
• Inform customers about events and promotions and distribute materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe entryway and front-end area.
• Support firearm check-in processes with outfitters as needed per SOP (do not handle firearms).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
