Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly, outgoing Greeter to welcome customers and provide information and directions at the front of the store. You will promote memberships and services, assist with merchandise check-ins, and help ensure a safe, organized entrance area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new processes while working with minimal supervision. This is a part-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to adapt to new processes and work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance per dress code.
• Check in customer merchandise for returns and authorize guest interactions.
• Check in vendor representatives and log visitor badges.
• Inform customers about in-store events, sales and promotions.
• Keep entryway and surrounding area clean and safe for guests and Outfitters.
• Assist with firearm check-in under supervision; never handle firearms.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
