Job summary

Sands Harbor Resort & Marina in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a friendly, professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.

You will coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready, maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and provide local information to create a memorable stay while upholding hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk or guest services preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hotel environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn PMS.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and guest requests.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries about accommodations and services.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Assist guests with questions and special requests while staying courteous.
• Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance to ensure rooms are ready.
• Maintain guest information and reservation records in the PMS.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide information about local attractions and transportation.
• Keep front desk and lobby area clean and welcoming.
• Follow policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
