Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown is seeking a friendly Part-Time Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and process reservations in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will assist guests with inquiries, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure satisfaction, and uphold brand standards while maintaining a clean, professional front desk area.

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel reservation and property management systems.
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Process room reservations, payments, and guest folios.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel policies and procedures.
• Promote hotel services and amenities when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Support the hotel team in delivering excellent hospitality and maintaining brand standards.
