Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions.
• Proficient with Property Management System (PMS) and PBX; balance daily shift bank.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and communicate.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide high level of customer service.
• Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, all packages, and special requests.
• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Answer all phone calls promptly with knowledge and complete information.
• Complete all items on appropriate checklist by end of shift.
• Follow established key control policy.
• Ensure proper credit policies are followed and verify credit limit report.
• Submit all lost & found articles with a completed report.
• Be knowledgeable about the area and assist with Concierge services.
• Be knowledgeable of fire and emergency procedures.
• Balance out daily shift bank and verify cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Monitor room availability throughout the day.
• Review daily selling status using yield management system.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure hotel services meet guest needs.
