Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an On-Call Front Desk Agent at SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh Bakery Square. You will welcome guests, complete registrations, handle payments, and promote our brand programs. The role requires accurate data entry, cash handling, and a calm approach during busy times.

You’ll communicate clearly by phone and in person, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive guest experience while supporting a team environment in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Calculator use for moderately complex math with accuracy.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers with tact.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
• Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand marketing programs.
• Code electronic keys and verify credit cards for authorization.
• Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank.
• Answer the telephone promptly and input messages into the computer.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve dissatisfaction.
• Field guest complaints and research solutions to resolve issues.
