Job summary

Home2 Suites by Hilton West Sacramento is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and process payments in line with hotel standards. You will answer inquiries, assist with reservations, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, enroll guests in Hilton Honors, and ensure smooth front desk operations.

A flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months in customer service preferably in a hotel setting.
• Flexible schedule available to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information to any guest or visitor inquiry.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
• Resolve guest issues, complaints, and requests with urgency and empathy.
• Ensure front desk procedures (room assignments, payment processing, key distribution) are performed accurately.
• Meet Hilton Honors enrollment goals by signing up guests during check-in.
• Answer department telephone within three rings with correct greeting and etiquette.
• Assist all departments and executives with information regarding groups, inventory and guest information.
