Job summary

Valley View Casino is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to assist guests with check-in/out and information on hotel, casino, and promotions. The role requires excellent guest service, cash handling, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

The position demands flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with duties spanning registration, luggage assistance, amenity deliveries, and coordination with hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Six months of cash-handling experience.
• Ability to type 35 words per minute or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for long periods.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening test.
• Must be able to pass auditions or skill testing.

Responsibilities

• Promote the front desk's success by assisting guests during check-in/check-out and change requests.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Register guests into the hotel following procedures and coordinate with other teams.
• Monitor and stock daily front desk supplies and processed purchases.
• Assist with hotel amenity deliveries and room inspections as needed.
• Help guests with luggage and ensure proper delivery of items.
• Keep front desk and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Maintain guest information confidentiality and act professionally at all times.
• Maintain a consistent attendance record.
