Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Six months of cash-handling experience.
• Ability to type 35 words per minute or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral).
• Flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand on a hard surface for long periods.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening test.
• Must be able to successfully pass auditions or skill testing.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold Valley View Casino’s Standards of Excellence.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints; greet guests courteously.
• Maintain assigned bank and accurate record of services.
• Register guests into the Hotel following procedures with other team members.
• Monitor and stock daily Front Desk supplies and retail areas.
• Assist with hotel amenity deliveries and room inspections.
• Assist guests with luggage services and ensure delivery to correct location.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Front Desk and surrounding areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
• Perform duties professionally and maintain regular attendance.
