Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Typing and computer aptitude are essential.
• Interpersonal skills, reading, writing and basic math are required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests in a prompt and courteous manner using up-selling techniques.
• Process guest payments and check-outs following policies.
• Respond to guest requests and provide information on local attractions and hotel services.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction and inform supervisor of major issues.
• Book reservations or coordinate with the reservations center.
• Handle departmental cash, issue receipts, and prepare deposit and cashier reports.
• Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
